Figuring out how frisbees fly with MathCAD. That, by the way, is a lovely program that FIRST students have available to them. If you haven’t tried it yet, you ought to!

A pre-scouting application is in the works! We think it’s a little late in the season to get this one out to other teams, and everyone has their preferences on what they want to know about different robots, so this one will be for our teams private use only. If your team would like to receive help to write your own app, let us know! We’d be thrilled to pass on knowledge to another team. Building a spare hopper for show in the pit and if our’s gets damaged then we have a spare. Fingers crossed that it won’t But we’re prepared.
