Iowa State Fair Demonstration

Right before school started, we travelled to the Iowa State Fair as part of STEM Day.  STEM Day was organized by the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council.  It recognized the council’s Scale-up programs (FRC is one of these programs in Iowa).  Through our demonstration, we promoted Scale-up programs, specifically FRC.  Later in the day, we helped team 3928 Team Neutrino and team 4646 Team ASAP in presenting a skit explaining FIRST and FRC on the main stage at the state fair.  Even the president of FIRST, Donald Bossi, came and supported teams at this event.  We were very excited to meet him!
