Getting stuff done.

Too much testing and plans. Sheets of paper with design sketches litter our work tables but don’t move anything! Someone might need that.

Chairman’s progress? Essay needs editing, video needs planning, and creation too.

Button making is being taught to many new students – Super important to learn for our team! Hopefully this year our team will make it to eliminations so that we can make alliance buttons with our other two teams at the regionals!

Heads up to all FIRST students out there – January 17th is Mentor Appreciation Day! How will you celebrate? Swartdog mentors have logged over 8,000 hours all together a year helping us out. Don’t wait until the end of build season to acknowledge their hard work! Give them a hug, bake them cookies, tell them how much they mean to you! After all, where would FIRST be without so many great mentors?

App development! We’re debugging the last and even scouted a game simulation today to test! Everything is flowing smoothly. We’re still hoping for he best when it comes t trying to put it on the app store. Wish us luck! We’ll do our best, but no promises. Last years app we kept for our team purposes but realized that it could be something for all teams to use. So this year we’re hoping to release it for all of the FIRST community to use and scout. We have the game match scouting app almost done. We will be creating a   robot scouting app like what we used last year as well.
