Our claw is being rebuilt! Previously it was created out of Lego pieces and rigid. Our first thought was to grab two at a time but that was a bust with the stiff design. So instead of working at grabbing two, we included a weight sensor! At our first regional event we were the only team able to sense heavy rings vs. light rings. We believe we won the Rockwelll Collins Innovate Award due to our weight sensing basket and unique arm. The newly designed grabber will be much more flexible than our previous grabber.

Reducing dependency on alignment during pick up will help increase speed.
