This December we decided to get the school body involved in what we do by having them take part in a fundraiser. We challenged students and teachers to shoot baskets using our 2012 robot. With a donation to Toys for Tots, they could compete to score the most baskets. Not only did this raise money for charity, it spread the message of FIRST to members of our community who may not have previously known Cedar Falls had a robotics team.
